MOR 91.1 Iloilo launched in 1992 is a music and news radio owned by ABS-CBN Corporation through Molave Broadcasting Network. 10,000-watt transmitter powers the Pop, Contemporary and OPM music from the studios located at ABS-CBN Broadcast Complex, Luna Street, La Paz District, Iloilo City. The channel had its first broadcast in 1992 with Jazz and alternative music played as Magic 9-11. Molave Broadcasting Network, the founder was a sister of Amcara Broadcasting Network that owned DWAC-23 MTV Asia. Station is now called ABS-CBN Sports+Action (S+A). The big transformation came in 1997 when ABS-CBN purchased air time from Molave Broadcasting Network thus changing the branding to ABS-CBN Radio 91.1.
