ListenRadios.com is a free online radio directory and player, run since 2011 and owned and operated by WebScare (Pvt.) Limited (“we”, “us”), Suite 12–13, 2nd Floor, Al Rehman Trade Centre, University Road, Sargodha, Punjab, Pakistan.
This policy explains what information ListenRadios.com handles when you browse stations and listen to radio here, and why. The short version: you can use the whole site without an account, we do not sell personal data, and your saved stations stay in your own browser.
What we do not collect
- No sign-up, no account and no email address are needed to listen.
- We do not ask for your location. To suggest stations “near you”, the player reads your device’s time zone setting (for example “Asia/Karachi”) and sends only that to our server, which answers with a country’s live stations. Your GPS position, address and IP-based location are not used for this.
- We do not build listening profiles of individual visitors.
Information kept in your browser only
These are stored with your browser’s local storage on your device and are never sent to us:
- Your stations (stations you save with the heart button) and recently played stations;
- your volume setting and the visualizer style you chose in the big player.
You can remove them at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. If you move your stations to another device with the transfer code on the home page, the code itself contains the list; we do not store it. See Cookies & Local Storage for details.
Information our server handles
- Server logs. Like every website, our web server receives your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Our hosting keeps these logs for a limited period for security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
- Play counts. When you start a station, the player tells our server which station was played. We keep only a count per station (for “most played” lists and to know a stream works); the count is not linked to you.
- Problem reports. If you report a station (“no sound”, “wrong station”, “wrong information”), we store the station, the reason, the optional note you typed and the time. Please do not include personal details in the note.
- Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic, the optional page link and your message. They are emailed to our team at WebScare (Pvt.) Limited and kept in the site’s administration area so we can answer you and follow up; we delete them when they are no longer needed. We do not add you to any mailing list.
- Abuse limits. To stop automated misuse, our server briefly keeps a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address together with a request counter. It cannot be turned back into your IP address and expires within about an hour.
When you press play: the station’s own servers
Streams come from the radio stations and their streaming providers, not from us. When you play a station, your browser connects to that station’s stream server, which receives your IP address and browser details under the station’s own privacy policy. A few older stations only offer streams over insecure (http) connections; for those, our server passes the audio through so it can play on this secure site, and the station then sees our server rather than you.
Other services used by some pages
- Radio map. The map background is loaded from a map tile provider (OpenStreetMap by default), which receives your IP address when the map is shown.
- Station logos and information are stored on our own server; your browser does not contact third parties to show them.
Advertising and analytics
At the time of writing ListenRadios.com does not run third-party advertising or analytics scripts. If we add them (for example to fund the service), we will update this policy before they go live, name the providers here, and ask for consent where the law requires it.
Why we process this information
We process the limited information above to provide and secure the service, keep station lists working and accurate, and prevent abuse. Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a free, reliable and safe radio directory.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to its processing. Because we hold almost nothing that identifies you, most requests can be met by clearing your browser’s data. For anything else, write to us through the contact page; we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
ListenRadios.com is a general-audience service and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
