Class C channel’s license was renewed on May 28, 2013 until Aug 31, 2018. Morning North, Up North and Points North (no longer available) are very popular among local audiences. There were plans to maintain a local news bureau for the North Bay however, CBC couldn’t materialize it. As of 2017 the satellite gets its local programing and news form CBCN.
