CBOB-FM Brockville is a repeater of CBO-FM operating in Ottawa, ON. As a part of CBC Radio One 91.5 FM the channel the channel broadcasts in the city located in Thousand Islands region. The approval date of rebroadcaster goes back to 1976 but the satellite couldn’t launch until 2012. CRTC approved the transmitter on Nov 22, 2007; the station would air on a frequency of 106.5 MHz using an ERP of 3,000 w to provide the adequate coverage lacking in the region. No call signs were given to the station until May 2009. In the fall of 2012 the broadcast relay station finally singed on air. The frequency of the station had been altered already in line with the CRTC’s approval of 91.9 MHz against that of 106.5 MHz in Nov 2010.
