CKMA 93.7 FM (legally known as CKMA-FM) is a Miramichi based French language station owned by Radio-MirAcadie Inc. On September 6, 2006 CRTC allowed Radio Miracadie Inc. to set up a Type A community station on a frequency of 93.7 MHz with a 11,000-watt transmitter. The applicant proposed that 126 hours/week will include 57 hours of the local content. Simulcast content would come from RFA (Réseau francophone d’Amérique), Pokemouche and CJSE-FM Shediac. Radio MirAcadie agreed that at least 2.5% (that make 3 hours in a week) would be dedicated to English language broadcasts in a radio dominated by overwhelmingly French programs. Variety music genres hosted by the CKMA 93.7 FM include folk, country, jazz, classic, blues, pop, Jazz and others.

The company vowed to recruit a number of volunteers for various purposes and would provide them with all necessary training and professional skills. CRTC made amends to the license on August 6, 2010 by approving a rebroadcast station CKMA-FM-1 in Neguac which would be active on 102.9 MHz with a 250-watts transmitter. You are welcome to community radio for Francophones and Francophiles in Northumberland County where you get to know the local talent, where you are kept up-to-date, where volunteers take over the airwaves for the benefit of listeners here and elsewhere. CKMA 93.7 in 2011 was rebranded as MA93.
