Now Country 104.7 (former Rhythm FM 104.7) launched on December 14, 2009 is a Mon-Fri Canadian Country radio based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The station with the sibling CICY-FM is headquartered in 1507 Inkster Blvd. CIUR-FM got approval from CRTC in 2008 to start is broadcasts on frequency 104.7 MHz. On December 4, 2009 after some test signals the station singed on air for the first time with Rhythmic and Urban Contemporary music styles. After some time the station was branded as Streetz 104.7 FM with prime focus on the taste of indigenous youth. Streetz was then renamed as Rhythm 104.7 on April 7, 2014 and now the audiences aimed to serve were 25-40 y/o. The Rhythmic Contemporary Hit Radio Format was the most traced genre hosted by the FM.
