Cariboo Country 100.3 British Columbia Cariboo Country 100.3 FM also branded by its call-sign CKCQ-FM and broadcasted at 100.3 MHz in Quesnel, BC. Vista Broadcast Group is the owner of the channel and uses to air the country music. Cariboo Country FM is a sister channel of Castlegar, Nelson, Yellowknife, Bracebridge, Kemptville, Parry Sound and many others. It also has an AM repeater, CKWL that is working in Williams Lake. Initially, the station was launched by the Cariboo Broadcasters on 570 MHz AM. In 1960, the Williams Lake repeater was added. Then the Quesnel repeater was switched to the 920 AM in 1980. During 2004, CKCQ was moved to its current FM frequency i.e. 100.3 MHz. In 2005, Vista Broadcast Group took charge of the channel from the Cariboo Communications.
