B-100

B-100 Kamloops CKBZ Kamloops 100.1B-100, known on air as CKBZ-FM, is a Canadian FM channel broadcasting in Kamloops, British Columbia. B-100, owned by Jim Pattison Group, is transmitting adult contemporary at 100.1 MHz FM frequency. Initially, the channel was started as an AM radio station having call-sign CFJC and frequency 1120 kHz. Kamloops Sentinel took over the CFJC in 1932. During 1948, the CBC approved the application of CFJC for an FM license.  Very late in 1962, Inland Broadcasters Ltd, owner at that time, launched a new FM channel on 98.3 MHz. Then in 1986, Jim Pattison Group acquired CFJC and its FM transmitter. On September 1, 2001, CFJC became CKBZ-FM 100.1 “B-100”.  Currently, the CKBZ has rebroadcasters in Sun Peaks, Clearwater, Merritt, Pritchard and Chase at different frequencies.
