89.7 Juice FM, identifies on air as CJSU-FM, is amongst the top channels of Canada and working in Duncan, British Columbia. The channel was originally started as an AM station, having call-sing CKAY, in October 1964 by Dr. John Coleman and a group of Duncan businesspeople. In 1999, CKAY (1979) Radio Inc applied to convert the channel from AM to FM. The application got approval on October 28, 199 by CRTC and then on August 1, 2000, the channel started broadcasting as an FM channel on its new frequency 89.7 MHz and branding “89.7 Sun FM”. During 2005 the license of the channel was acquired by the Vista Broadcast Group Inc., the current owner of the 89.7 Juice. Then very late in 2014, the branding of CJSU Duncan, BC was changed to its new one, 89.7 Juice FM with a variety of music. Duncan based citizens can enjoy the variety of classical music from 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and some fresh music from top adult and hot contemporary.
