91.9 The Bend - CKNI-FM - 919 The Bend New BrunswickThe Bend 91.9 FM also known as CKNI-FM is an Adult contemporary format station owned by Acadia Broadcasting and operates in Moncton, NB. Metro’s Perfect Music Mix is the slogan of the 91.9 The Bend. Rogers Broadcasting on November 26, 2004 got its licenses approved by CRTC for News and Talk radios at Halifax, Saint John and Moncton. The applicant received permissions to setup a 40,300-watt transmitter using a frequency of 91.9 MHz. On October 11, 2005 CKNI-FM Moncton officially singed on air with a wattage of 40,300 watts. On June 21, 2013 CRTC administratively validated the 91.9 The Bend FM. CRTC on March 14, 2014 approved the sale of CKNI-FM to Acadia Broadcasting with also amending the license from News and Talk to music.
