CBOF-FM 90.7 FM (Première Ottawa-Gatineau) is an Ottawa based CBC radio affiliated with Ici Radio-Canada Première and serves the Franco-Ontarian community with news and info. CBC was able to get a license for the AM station on Aug 1, 1964; it would broadcast on a frequency of 1250 kHz using an ERP of 10,000 w. Repeaters were launched at Rophton and Maniwaki in 1970 and 1973 respectively. The AM radio increased its ERP to 50,000 w in Jan 1977. CBOF-FM changed its band to FM in Jan 1991 after receiving CRTC’s approval in 1989; new frequency and wattage were 90.7 MHz and 84,000 w respectively.

Première Ottawa-Gatineau currently operates five rebroadcasting facilities at Maniwaki, Rolphton, Brockville, Chapeau, Cornwall and Pembroke. CRTC renewed the license of CBOF 90.7 FM and its satellites on May 28, 2013 until Aug 31, 2018.
